Songwriteam - Broken mirror

I was working on the arrangements for the next song, ‘Life is a song’, when this music appeared under my fingers, almost magically. 

I could have developed it a bit, added a bridge, a chorus, but I preferred to leave it as is, so it's relatively short.

a piano, a heartbeat as a rhythm, a slightly dark text, et voilà

We're just like a broken mirror

Shattered pieces lost in time

The things we left unfinished

Still haunt us in the night

In the corners of my mind

Paths that crossed and yet were blind

Echoes of words left unsaid

Dreams we never got to save
