One Skein Shawl

This product is a pattern for a Tunisian crochet shawl.

The pattern first appeared in Indie Road magazine in Australia in 2018. It has since been re-written (accuracy was a bit of an issue in the first iteration - my fault, not the magazine!). It was completely rewritten in March 2026.

Finally, here is a use for that one skein impulse buy that has been in your stash for far too long or that scrumptious hand spun yarn you just had to spin! 

The Tunisian honeycomb pattern explained in issue 2 of Indie Road Magazine gives a lustrous drape effect to a vibrant feature yarn. This pattern is easily adaptable to any yarn weight but is perfect to use up one whole 100g skein of 4ply (fingering weight) yarn.

This is a beginner friendly pattern.
