Nephin Socks (PDF)
Inspired by the quiet strength of Nephin Mountain, these socks echo the ridged folds and secret hollows of its northern slope. A delicate vertical texture flows down the leg and foot, recalling the ripple of stream water and the uneven paths that wind their way through bracken and stone.
Sizes: S(M)L
Needle: 2.25mm 32” circular needle to knit magic loop - or use your normal sock needles
Yarn: 100g fingering weight solid or semi solid yarn (I used Filcolana Arwetta - 977).
Supplies: darning needle, cable needle, scissors.
Gauge: 8 stitches in 1” stockinette in the round.
