Hello, I’m Jamie - knitter, writer, gardener, and weekend stitch witch behind By Bramble Cottage. I live in a small off-grid home in rural Ireland with my partner Glen, our grown-up kids, a flock of hens, and a garden full of herbs and stories.

My sock patterns are designed slowly and intentionally, inspired by the landscapes around me - the river that runs past our home, the moss underfoot, the hoarfrost on the hedgerows. I knit for comfort, warmth, and beauty - the kind of socks you wear with boots to feed the chickens, or curl up in with a book.

Each pattern is part of a seasonal collection - a little window into life at Bramble Cottage. Expect texture, story, and the occasional nod to folklore or mischief.
