Navigation Zoom Palette 1.1

Floating palette providing quick navigation & zoom controls for InDesign documents

- Add [Bg] to Toggle Baseline Grid,

- Add Shift + [Fit] = Fit Spreads 

- Add Shift + [W] = Enable Preview + Hide All Others

- Add Grid in Back = OFF on startup (restored on close)

- Minors UI changes

AUTOMATIC SYNC ON LAUNCH:

When the palette opens, all windows are automatically tiled vertically.

All documents are automatically synchronized to:

• First page/spread

• Fit in Window zoom

• Guides OFF, Grids OFF, Hidden Characters OFF

• Preview mode ON

• Grid in Back in preference is turn OFF

WINDOW TILING:

• ↕ or ↔: Toggle between vertical and horizontal window tiling

• Shift + ↕ or ↔: Consolidate all windows into tabs

NAVIGATION CONTROLS:

• |< : Go to first page (Shift = first spread)

• < : Go to previous page (Shift = previous spread)

• T : Toggle between last two page views (including zoom levels)

• > : Go to next page (Shift = next spread)

• >| : Go to last page (Shift = last spread)

• P# : Go to specific page (shows dropdown with all pages and master spreads)

ZOOM CONTROLS:

• Fit : Fit page in window (Shift = fit spread in window)

• 50, 100, 200, 400 : Set specific zoom percentages

• % : Set custom zoom percentage (5-2000%)

• + : Zoom in by increment amount

• - : Zoom out by increment amount

• Text field : Set zoom increment amount for +/- buttons

VIEW TOGGLES:

• W : Toggle Preview mode (Shift = enable Preview + forces all visual elements to hidden state)

• G : Toggle Guides visibility (disabled in Preview mode)

• Gr : Toggle Grid visibility (disabled in Preview mode)

• Bg : Toggle Baseline Grid visibility (disabled in Preview mode)

• Hc : Toggle Hidden characters visibility (disabled in Preview mode)

TOGGLE FEATURE:

The 'T' button remembers your last two page views with their zoom levels.

Navigate between pages and adjust zoom, then use 'T' to quickly switch back and forth.

All functions apply to ALL open documents simultaneously.

The palette stays open and accessible while working.
