Vispa Clutch

A lovely little bag, which can be used as a clutch, make-up purse or as a storage bag for small things, for example your

knitting gear.

Vispa Clutch is worked with a seed stitch bottom, which the rest of the bag is constructed around. The clutch has a

beehive pattern on the front and back and a flat top where the zipper is sewn onto.

Vispa means ”wasp” in Bornholm, and I have chosen to call this little bag after this word because of the beehive pattern.

I have family roots in Bornholm and have always loved the quirky words and expressions from the area. Even though

I know wasps don’t have hives, I still hope you like the name.

Finished measurement before washing and blocking: 20 x 13 x 5 cm

After washing and blocking, the piece can grow 1-2 cm

Gauge

21 sts = 10 cm in stockinette on 4.5 mm needles.

The gauge is measured after washing and blocking

Arwetta from Filcolana, 50 gram = 210 meter/50 gram

Held together with silk mohair, 25 g = 210 m

Needles

4.5 mm circular needles (40 cm)
