An ideal gas with y = 1.40 occupies 4.0L at 300 K and 1.0 x 10^5 Pa pressure.  It is compressed adiabatically to 1/4 of its original volume, and then cooled at constant volume back to 300K, and finally it is allowed to expand isotherm ally to its original volume.  How much work is done on the gas?
