Featuring beautifully warm and squishy ribbing, this crochet scarf pattern mimics knit. It has 1 x 1 "knit 1, purl 1" ribbing on both ends of the scarf to give it a clean start and end. In the middle of the scarf, the ribbing is 2 x 2, which creates deeper and more dramatic folds so it is squishy and wonderfully warm.

Advanced Beginner. Crocheters looking to follow this pattern should know how to:

• Read a crochet pattern - There is NOT a video tutorial for this crochet pattern.
• Work the basic stitches - Chain, Slip Stitch, Single Crochet and Half Double crochet
• Yarn Over Slip Stitch (yoslst) or be willing to learn (This stitch is similar to a half double crochet).
• Work in the Back Loop Only
• Work in the 3rd Loop Only

This is NOT a Beginner pattern! This is an Advanced Beginner pattern, meaning you should know and feel comfortable crocheting in general before using this pattern. Absolute beginners who are just learning to crochet will find this pattern to be way outside their skill level.

PATTERN INCLUDES

• A robust PDF titled "With Photo Tutorials" that includes a detailed photo tutorials for Rows 1 through 5, which will set you up to properly repeat the rows. The photo tutorial has the steps written in detail, not short hand. Photo tutorials for the special stitches and techniques are also included.
• Printer friendly PDF with no photo tutorial to help save ink for crocheters who prefer to print their patterns.

YARN REQUIRED

You will need a bulky (5) weight yarn of your choice. You will need approximately: 11.5 ounces / 320 grams / 440 yards.

Note: If you alter the scarf in any way, your yarn usage will not match these requirements.
