"WORDS" Framed Print

So goes the saying. The intent is noble. It would be great if we were always capable of overcoming the hurtful things other people may say to or about us but that is not possible. Words do hurt. The words in this piece although full of history, have no power, they cannot hurt anyone. By themselves, without context and without human intent, they are nothing but ink formed into letters and then into words. The purpose is to bring together such words, show them in light, frame them in, and place them within the parameters of an artists frame. Even grouped together, they lose all power to hurt. Look at them, consider them and walk away unhurt un-afraid and strengthened, so when faced with them in a context where someone is trying to hurt you, you may not feel the pain but only pity for those who desire to bring pain.
