Scale Fluency - Harmonic Minor Modes

The harmonic minor and all of its modes, across the entire neck — the scale behind Phrygian dominant, the Spanish sound, and a large amount of jazz and classical vocabulary.

Same method as the rest of the series. Not new patterns to memorise, but a systematic way to practise: one- and two-octave approaches, vertical and horizontal, all 12 keys, until you can improvise in this tonality as freely as you do in a major key.

Best approached once the major scale modes are solid, since the patterns here are built to be recognisably similar. You're not starting from scratch, which is the whole point of the series.
