String Quartet No. 12 in F Major, Op. 96 ("The American") - I. Allegro ma non troppo by Antonin Dvo?ák

Originally for string quartet, arranged for euphonium-tuba (EETT) quartet
Duration ~10 minutes

This quartet was nicknamed "The American" because it was written during Dvo?ák's time in America (specifically, Spillville, IA).  It is not certain whether or not the piece contains direct influences from American and Negro folk songs, but Dvo?ák was broadly influenced by his exposure to this material during his stay in America.
