In the beginning we will talk about the crude oil, its formation and its products. Then we will talk about the crude oil carriers, its size & types.
After that we will move to chapter 2: were we are going to talk about marine pollution, pathway of pollution, ship pollution & the hugest incidents, such as:

· Torrey canyon
· Jakob Maersk
· Prestige
· Erika
· Exxon Valdez
· Gulf of Mexico
Then we will talk about MARPOL & its conventions.
Finally, we will talk about the effect of MARPOL on crude oil carriers, and from its important effects:
· The crude oil washing (COW).
· Double Hull.
· The international convention on oil pollution preparedness, response and co-operation (OPRC).
