High School Cadet Corp Training After WW I

The history of High School Cadet training is a long one going back before World War I. If, like me, you participated in Cadets at your school, you will know that the learning process was real and included many school activities ranging from weapon firing to marching in local events. In some places summer camps provided in-depth training where you learned how to light fires in the wilderness, how to signal, how to build bridges and much more.
