With the release of a new Blitz Club compilation album curated by Rusty Egan, we have an exclusive interview with Rusty himself as we explore the Blitz Club’s vital legacy.

We also meet the Queen of Stiff herself, as Lene Lovich’s musical history is showcased in a new box set focussing on her Stiff Records period. Blitzed also catches up with Neil Arthur of Blancmange and we speak to Martin McAloon on Prefab Sprout’s legacy.  

Musician and composer Dave Formula was involved with both Magazine and Visage in their day, Blitzed speaks to the man directly. The new issue also features interviews with power-pop outfit The Priscillas and veteran singer-songwriter Judie Tzuke. 

The new Blitzed also celebrates some notable album anniversaries, which includes David Bowie’s Diamond Dogs, Thompson Twins’ Into The Gap, The Style Council’s Café Bleu, The Smiths’ eponymous 1984 debut and Nik Kershaw’s Human Racing.
