Danish Fighters
There was no Waffen SS division composed solely of Danish fighters during World War II. While there were Danish volunteers who fought on the side of Nazi Germany, they were not organized into a separate Waffen SS division. Instead, Danish volunteers were scattered among various German military units, including the Waffen SS, and served in a variety of roles. Some Danish volunteers joined the Wiking Division or the Nordland Division, both of which were composed of volunteers from various countries. However, the number of Danish volunteers who served in the Waffen SS was relatively small compared to other countries. Overall, the Danish resistance movement against Nazi Germany was strong, and many Danes actively worked to resist the occupation and protect Danish Jews from persecution.
