It was designed originally to showcase Three Irish Girls’ 4 mini-skein gradient sets, for which specific instructions are given, however in can be worked equally successfully in a single yarn.

100g/400m 4ply/fingering weight sock yarn. Any that gives gauge should be suitable.

- 2.5mm (US1.5) circular needles, or dpns
- 2 cable needles
- stitch markers
- tapestry needle for weaving in the ends
