This guide was developed to help Christian facilitators in their use of Seeking Safety. It was designed to address the intersection between trauma, substance abuse (or other unsafe behaviors) and spirituality. It can be used in faith-based clinical or non-clinical settings (such as churches or para-church organizations) by counselors, pastors, ministry leaders, or community members. It is not a stand-alone guide, but rather a supplement to be used in conjunction with the Seeking Safety model.
