Portrait in the Style of Mary Cassatt

Mary Cassatt was an American artist who was known for her intimate paintings of everyday scenes with women and children as the primary focus. She was especially interested in bond between mothers and their children.

This was at at time when artists didn't paint "ordinary" people and scenes because there wasn't financial support for that kind of thing. It was also at a time when women and children were considered less important as subjects.

Mary Cassatt's paintings are warm, casual, and have this interesting blend of slight chaos and comfort in them. She beautifully represented the overlooked elements of daily life.

This is an excellent fit for animals who have that warm, casual, nurturing vibe and who might sometimes be overlooked for being ordinary.
