Captured here is a night view of the iconic Iron Bridge in Shropshire — the first major bridge in the world to be made entirely of cast iron. Completed in 1779, it stood as a revolutionary feat of engineering and became a symbol of Britain’s industrial ingenuity.

The surrounding Ironbridge Gorge, carved by the River Severn, became a hub of innovation — home to early iron foundries, coal mines, and pottery works that helped shape modern industry.
