HookReplay — local event replay test template

Short description: Reproduce duplicate deliveries, pre-write failure/retry, stale updates, conflicting versions and concurrent duplicates with synthetic fixtures. Inspect writes and final resource state, then run your own trusted local adapter through the included harness.

Included: self-contained browser simulator; guarded and naive handler source; sequential/concurrent replay runner; trusted local adapter runner and example; original fixtures; eight meaningful engine tests; usage and limitation notes.

Requirements: modern browser for the simulator; Node 22+ for local runners. No third-party runtime packages. Review adapter code before executing it.

Limits: single-process in-memory exercise, not a production webhook receiver, payment integration, durable queue or signing implementation. Synthetic versions are not a claimed provider contract. A passing fixture does not establish distributed correctness or crash recovery.
