Taking Back Our Country

By Dennis AuBuchon

Our economy is finally turning around and there is great optimism throughout our country but there is much more to do.  It is hoped the subjects and political philosophy covered in this book will bring the issues to the forefront and create a movement.  The last Presidential election has seen an increase from the media and others to ignore our rights under the Constitution and the Constitution

Over the past several administrations and the culture in Congress our rights have been slipping away from us.  We as citizens must learn the real facts about what is being reported not what some media sources want us to believe. Both political parties have failed us in the past on many fronts.  Part of the key in taking back our country is electing individuals who will lead with solid principles, common sense and compassion for each and every citizen.  Common sense has been lost in the political environment and in some cases our judicial environment.

The election of our current President has shaken things up in Washington and positive changes are taking place.  Regulations have been reduced, taxes have been lowered and unemployment in a number of ethnic groups is the lowest it has been in decades sometimes the level is the lowest it has ever been.  We need individuals in all levels of government be it local, state or federal who will be more concerned about the individuals they represent than their own political parties and keeping their jobs.  We must look to the individuals presently running for election either this year or next year who has solutions to the monumental issues facing our country and will follow through to implement the solutions.

It must also be realized that there are good individuals who are representing a common sense approach to the issues we face and we need to elect more of these individuals when we cast our votes.  Reducing the size of government with individuals who will cut the fat from the federal government is what we need.  It appears there is a new movement within Washington to change the culture of increasing the size and overreach of government operations with the administration in place after the 2016 election.  We need to get back to a constitutional government.  Operating within the Constitution would reduce or eliminate some of the controls now in place which has no connection to our Constitution.

The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the United States but the subjects presented and discussed in the book appear to be on the path to destroy our Constitution and the rights we have within it.  It is also a document that limits the power of government that protects the fundamental rights of United States Citizens.  The term United States citizen is the key point.  This aspect will be discussed where applicable in the various topics in this book.
