Freelance Docs - Contract, Proposal, Rate Card and Overdue-Invoice Letters You Fill In and Print to PDF (Offline, One File)
Four freelance documents you fill in by typing on the page and print to PDF. Offline, in the browser you already have - now including letters for an invoice that is already overdue, in English and Finnish.
YOU GET FOUR DOCUMENTS, NOT A WALL OF TEXT
1. Service agreement - parties, work in scope, schedule and who delays what, a deposit / milestone / final-fee table, revision rounds defined as one consolidated round from one decision-maker, ownership and portfolio rights, cancellation with a kill fee, a liability cap, confidentiality, a personal-data line and governing law.
2. Project proposal - the situation in the client's own words, measurable “what done looks like”, an explicit “deliberately not included” list (that line is what stops scope creep), a four-phase approach table showing what you provide at each phase, a three-option price table, terms, proof, and the next step.
3. Rate card - hourly, rush, meetings, per-project from-prices with turnaround, retainer maths, and the terms that apply to everyone: deposit, re-quote when scope changes, late-payment charge, usage rights.
4. Late-payment letters - a reminder, a formal demand and a final notice for an invoice that is already overdue, in English and Finnish, each carrying the statutory interest and the fixed compensation worked out from the invoice amount and the dates you enter (EU Directive 2011/7/EU, Finland’s korkolaki 633/1982, or the UK Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998).
HOW IT WORKS
- Double-click the file. It runs in Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox with the internet switched off. No account, nothing to install, nothing uploaded.
- Click any text and type. The highlighted [brackets] are the gaps to fill; delete whole lines that don't apply to your deal.
- What you type saves itself in this browser, so a contract you leave half-finished is still there when you come back. One button puts the blank template back.
- Press Print / Save as PDF and choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog. The toolbar and the notes disappear on paper - no watermark, no page limit, no third-party service in the middle.
HONEST LIMITS, BEFORE YOU BUY
- Plain-language starting points, not legal advice and not jurisdiction-specific. Have a lawyer where you are based review anything you send repeatedly, and never copy a contract from another business.
- No version history. The PDF you print is the record of what you actually sent, so keep those instead of one living file you overwrite.
- Your typed text lives only in this browser on this machine. Clearing browser data, or filling a document in a private window, loses it.
- Paperwork only - no client list, time log, invoices or dashboard. That is FreelanceDesk, a separate product on this store.
- Requirements: any browser from roughly the last five years. Works from a USB stick.
WHAT YOU GET: Freelance-Documents-1.1.0.zip (20 KB) containing Freelance-Documents.html - the agreement, proposal and rate card in one file - and Late-Payment-Letters.html - the reminder, formal demand and final notice in English and Finnish - plus QUICKSTART.md, LICENSE.txt and VERSION.txt.
FREE, NO ACCOUNT, ON THE SAME SITE AS THE APP
- Freelance rate calculator - works backwards from the take-home you need to the minimum rate you should quote, which is the number that goes on the rate card.
- Late payment interest calculator - the statutory interest and fixed compensation you can charge in the EU or UK, which is what the late-payment clause should point at.
