Make Time PDF Pattern

Four of the nineteen uplifting blocks created for the Make Time Sewalong: a quilt that celebrates the importance of making time for activities that nourish our souls, make us happy and reconnect us with what’s really important.

I teamed up with four of my fabulous quilty friends - Victoria from Little Black Duck, Lou Orth Designs and Jo from The Crafty Nomad - to make time to do what makes us happy and design a very special quilt, exploring the themes of friendship, nature, creativity and self care, using our favourite quilting techniques.

FRIENDSHIP STAR 6" SQUARE BLOCK

MATERIALS:

2 2½” squares of teal (Kona Solid in breakers)

2 2½” squares of aqua (Kona Solid  in azure)

2 1½” squares of bright pink (Kona Solid  in carnation)

2 1½” squares of pale pink (Kona Solid in baby pink)

1 2½” x WOF strip of cream background (Kona Solid in ivory)

SMELL THE ROSES 6" x 12" BLOCK

MATERIALS:

2 2” x 3” pieces of teal (Kona Solid in breakers)

2 2” x 3” pieces of aqua (Kona Solid  in azure)

1 1¾” x 3” piece and 1 1¾” square of bright pink (Kona Solid  in carnation)

1 1¾” square of red (Kona Solid  in watermelon)                                       

1 1¼” x 21” strip of pale pink (Kona Solid in baby pink)

4 1¼” squares of white (Kona Solid in snow)

1 3½” x WOF strip of blue background (Kona Solid in delft)

A GOOD YARN 12" x 24" BLOCK

MATERIALS:

1 4½” x WOF strip of red (Kona Solid in watermelon)

1 3½” x WOF strip of pale pink (Kona Solid in baby pink)

1 3½” x WOF strip of white (Kona Solid in snow)

1 1½” x WOF strip of lilac (Kona Solid in corsage)

2 1½” squares of aqua (Kona Solid in azure)

1 1” x WOF strip of cream (Kona Solid in ivory)

1 8” x WOF strip of teal background (Kona Solid in breakers)
