"Sailor's Hornpipe" for Flute Choir

An original piece for Flute Choir. Scored for 4 C flutes, Alto Flute and Bass Flute.

The format traditionally used in an English Hornpipe. It has 4 sections which offer repeats before the DS.

It is in C major moving to F major before returning. The highest note is a top F which comes twice.

It is placed at Intermediate level- around grade 5-6 Associated Board. The youtube link has the full score for you to assess suitability.

It is around 2mins 20 in length, and would make an ideal end to a concert, recital, useful also for weddings or any happy occasion-or just offer something new to the repertoire- and a bit of fun!
