Simply Scales is a Step-by-Step method for teaching young band musicians how to learn and master Major, Melodic Minor and Chromatic Scales. The process begins by learning 4 notes (TetraScale) for each key and ends with a 2 octave scale. The method can be used or individual instruction or in class.
Simply Scales covers 12 Major, 12 Melodic Minor, 2-octave F Chromatic and 2-octave Bb Chromatic scales. This system is designed to be used from beginning band through high school and transition to All-State Band auditions.
In addition to scales, rudiments and sticking exercises are also included for percussionists.
