This pattern was originally designed for Unique Sheep Mystery Lace Knit a-Long! This summer KAL was inspired by The Once and Future King, the story of King Arthur and his court.
Working from the centre out this rectangular lace weight design was created using a Gradience colourway from the Unique Sheep, but could be knitted using any 1200yd setoff lace weight yarn.
This shawl will be knitted in two halves and
joined in the middle using either a 3-needle bind
off or grafting. The colours can either be knitted symmetrically, or you can knit it asymmetrically as you
prefer
All seed beads are added using the crochet hook method. Dagger beads are threaded onto the yarn prior
to casting on for clue 1. All WS rows are rest rows with no patterning other than beading.
You can either work both halves at the same time on two pairs of needles, or work one half and then the
other. The choice is yours.
Bead Requirements: 345 size 8/0 beads plus 24 of the 3x10mm daggers.
