Halloween 2017 Edition - Popcorn Horror Digital Magazine

Happy Halloween everyone! We hope you all are having a fantastic October and have a a safe and spooky Halloween season.

We have a range of Halloween themed features, plus your usual favourites in the Popcorn Horror Digital Magazine this October. Our dedicated team of volunteers have put together a fantastic issue which should keep you entertained until the 31st - and beyond.

The magzine was set up to showcase the best indie horror film, art, music, comics and other creative fields - and give fans a new way to connect with an independent horror community. We are so proud of all of the talented people who are part of the Popcorn Horror family, and are thrilled to bring you the magazine again as Pay What You Want.

First up, Sarah Treanor presents her views on the Halloween Original vs Remake debate. The, Zombie Pumpkins! have kindly shared some Jack-O-Lantern carving designs for your use. There's original and remake Myers, plus the Halloween opening credits pumpkin for you to chose from.

Planning a Halloween party? You'll want to check out our decor guide, featuring pieces by indie artists and designers. Stuck for something to watch - we've hand picked some short horror films set at Halloween which are perfect for the season.

We're saying farewell to the much loved Rock In Purgatory (R.I.P) - but creator Rik Jackson shared his plans for future projects in an interview included in this issue.

Welcome to David Devereux, musician and podcaster who has picked out five horror/sci-fi podcasts to listen to. Tony Riley shares some awesome Halloween III artwork, and poet Lorn has a spooky tale for an October night.

Lovecraftian and paranormal novel previews, comic extracts from The Howling's new adventure, seasonal Diary of a Horror Nerd, metal band Splintered Halo, behind the scenes at Glasgow Horror Fest, inside a haunted house, monster making, horror theater, sex and horror reflections and more inside this special Halloween issue of Popcorn Horror's digital magazine.

Hope you enjoy this issue, thank you for supporting indie horror!
