This light and airy beret is perfect for spring or fall. It uses the same twelve row lace pattern as the other Lacy Lady patterns and the colours in tonal or slightly variegated yarns are highlighted by the stitch pattern. It is worked in the round from the bottom up.
This is the third pattern in the Lacy Lady Collection. Other patterns include the Lacy Lady Scarf and Lacy Lady Shawlette. Put all three patterns in your cart and get the set for $10.00.
There are two sizes to choose from - regular (fits up to 23” head circumference) or slouchier (fits up to 24” head circumference). The beret shown here is the regular size.
Blocking is necessary to open the lace pattern and to establish the shape and size of the beret. Go to leahmichelledesigns.com for a beret blocking tutorial.
