The Empty Tomb Made Simple
Every religion on earth has a founder. Only one religion has an empty tomb.
The Empty Tomb Made Simple is a Bible-first walk through resurrection morning — from Mary Magdalene's walk in the dark (John 20:1), to the stone rolled away (Matthew 28:2), to the angel's announcement "He is not here: for he is risen" (Matthew 28:6), to the folded grave clothes (John 20:7), to the Shepherd calling Mary by name (John 20:16), to the commission "Go to my brethren" (John 20:17), to Paul's bedrock summary: "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Eleven devotional chapters, each with Scripture, reflection, application, and prayer. Explicitly Trinitarian: the Father who raised Jesus from the dead, Jesus Christ — Son of God and Son of Man, Lord and Savior — who walked out of the grave alive, and the Holy Spirit who turns weeping into witness and quickens what is dead in us. Every prayer is to the Father, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit.
Read one chapter a day. Come while it is yet dark. Leave as a witness.
