Blackwall Frigates & Modelling Barque East African

This download is 20 pages in length, with 5,955 words and 28 illustrations, including sail and deck plans of the barque "East African." The first part is an illustrated account a typical voyage aboard the Blackwall passenger sailing ship "Yorkshire" in the 1860s. The second part is an illustrated build log of a miniature model of the barque "East African." This was published some time ago as a free download, but later withdrawn. I have updated it by adding a deck plan of the "East African" for the benefit of anyone wishing to build a miniature model. I have not gone into any actual constructional details, but the build is fully illustrated by numerous photographs showing every stage of construction of the model.
