Irish Chain

The quilt pictured on the cover is from Ann Jermey's collection. Barbara has a similar one in her collection but it is considerably worn, so much so that most of the red fabric has gone.

Ann says – This a single Irish Chain design. The quilt is 10 blocks by 11 but looks as if it has been cut down from a larger quilt. It is a summer ‘coverlet’ as it has no wadding but does have stitching to hold the two layers together.

The block size is 7 inches and the quilt will finish at 77 x 70 inches.
