Maddox Cove

Maddox Cove

A summer tee that I want to wear all summer long! It covers my arms, lets my underarms breathe, and has a beautiful accentuating shape given by the side lace panels. The tee boasts a dolman shape for some wonderful airiness under your arms and arm coverage for those days when you really don’t want to show them. To balance the dolman shaping, the lower body is meant to have less ease and fit a bit more close to skin.

And it’s made with 100% hemp (I used: allhemp6) at a 17 stitch stockinette gauge -- perfect for when you really need a quick summer tee for impending hot weather.

The Upper Back is worked flat with increases to shape the neck and short rows to shape the shoulders. The Upper Front is worked next, also with increases to shape the neck and short rows to shape the shoulders. The Upper Back and Upper Front are joined at the underarms, then the Lower Body is worked in the round to the hem with decreases to make the dolman shaping. The vertical lace panels are both charted and written.
