Namaste! This set of six yoga pose quilt blocks is perfect for making a gift for a yoga enthusiast (or for yourself)!
These patterns are brilliant for using up tiny remnant scraps of your favourite fabrics for the mat and clothes. I had a good rummage in my scraps bag to make this series of yoga poses!
The patterns are quite versatile and you can choose the hair style of your yogis as well as the skin tone and clothing. They are really fun to experiment with! Use the tag #EtiveYoga on Instagram to share your creations!
The poses are:
❤ headstand (Sirshasana)
❤ warrior II (Virabhadrasana II)
❤ triangle pose (Trikonasana)
❤ downwards facing dog (Adho mukha śvānāsana)
❤ boat pose (Paripurna Navasana)
❤ upwards facing dog (Urdhvamukha shvanasana)
By purchasing these patterns as a set you are getting a 30% discount but if you prefer, each one can be purchased individually in my shop.
All of the patterns contain quite a few small segments so are great for an intermediate to advanced paper-piecer. The patterns will produce blocks that are approximately 12x12 inches which could be used as part of a larger quilt or as a tabletopper or placemat. The PDFs also include instructions to scale-up the patterns to make blocks of any size.
The PDF downloads include:

❤ Tips for sewing the pieces and directions to piece the sections
❤ A diagram for planning your colour scheme
❤ Instructions to scale-up the pattern to create larger blocks
❤ The pieces are annotated (to indicate skin, hair, clothing etc)

The patterns do not include instructions on how to paper piece. There are loads of great quilting resources online where you can learn to paper piece.
