Canisp Knitting Pattern

Canisp is an adventure in unorthodox construction, with the deceptively simple striped front revealing itself on a closer look to be anything but ordinary.

Narrow stripes highlight the contours of bias-knit sleeves; wrapping organically around the shoulders to meet the back in an unexpected raglan seam. The geometry is perfectly pleasing; the wide, boxy style modern and eminently wearable. The wonderful British wool Devonia (a blend of three fine breeds) brings unbeatable drape and lustre, making this a key wardrobe piece as well as a rewarding knit.

Size
Size: S (M, L, XL, XXL)
Finished bust circumference: 97.5 (112.5, 127.5, 142.5, 157) cm / 39 (45, 51, 57, 62.75) in

The sweater is shown in size XL, modelled with 22.5 cm / 9 in positive ease at full bust.

Yarn
The pattern requires two colours of fingering weight yarn. I recommend using a worsted spun wool yarn that will give good drape at the stated gauge.
