This is a PDF file that is a crochet pattern for an afghan. This afghan used worsted weight yarn and crochet hook size "I". I used 4 different colors to make this blanket. Here are the yardages. Color 1 1,700 yards, Color 2 500 yards, Color 3 900 yards, and Color 4 1,300 yards.
Each piece is made as a hexagon. The pieces are jined together as you go. The pattern includes a photo tutorial on how to do this was well as how I changed colors so that it wouldn't show. I made a chart to show how the pieces go together.
The blanket can be made larger by making more pieces, which will require more yarn. It could also be made smaller by using a light weight yarn and smaller hook.
