Lady Jane's Miracle

Teri Jane McRaae is attacked on her way home from the Vancouver Public Library, and is thrown into the pages of a novel she has just been reading. Taking refuge with Zossima, an escapee from a Dostoyevsky novel, she enlists his help to get her home. He agrees, on the condition that she first decipher his "miracle."
