Your parcel van starts at S, collects at A and then B, and finishes at E. The dispatch card gives you an exact distance and an exact number of turns. Can you find the route that fits both?
Depot Detours is a self-contained printable puzzle collection. Draw routes between neighboring squares, avoid closed streets, and never visit a square twice. You do not need scissors, dice, an app, or an online checker.
What's included:
- 24 original route puzzles in four six-puzzle sections: shortest-distance routes, turn patterns, narrow passages and deliberate detours.
- A worked example explaining how to count steps and turns.
- Three optional hints for every puzzle, progressing from a reasoning prompt to route reveals.
- Complete answer diagrams, move sequences and step/turn checks.
- Matching 48-page US Letter and 48-page A4 PDF editions with black-and-white diagrams and large grids.
Try the free preview before buying. It includes the rules, two puzzles from the collection and their answers. Those two preview puzzles are included in the full 24-puzzle edition; they are not extra puzzles.

FAQ
Q: Do I have to use every square?
A: No. Your route only needs to follow the rules and match the exact step and turn counts.
Q: Is this the same as a word search or nonogram?
A: No. You draw a continuous route through two ordered stops while meeting distance and turn constraints. There are no words to find or picture cells to fill.
Q: Do I need to cut anything out?
A: No. Print a puzzle page and use a pencil. There are no separate pieces to assemble.
Q: Are hints and answers included?
A: Yes. Each puzzle has three optional hints and a complete answer. The hints and answers appear after the puzzle section so you can choose when to consult them.
Q: Is color printing required?
A: No. The diagrams use black, white and gray, with X marks identifying closed squares.
Q: Is it editable or interactive?
A: No. It is a static print-at-home PDF. It is not a spreadsheet, fillable form or app.
