Horizon Apartments; An Unseen Beauty within Roblox

Roblox is often stereotype by its Cartoonish graphics, targeted for the minor audiences. But this blame sometimes is given on the game engine, challenging its techonological power. However, people often forgets that the power of making a game truly breathtaking lies in the hand of the developer not the engine itself only! In Horizon Apartment, we quite proved that roblox is not only for those cartoonish builds but something spectacular and meaningful

Horizon Apartments is a concept apartment complex, made in Roblox Studio. The apartment complex explores the concept of mansion level kuxury in an urban apartment complex. The spectacular interior design, the language of its color scheme and the overall placement of object, defines only one thing, that is luxury! But how can this be used in a game or how it is a ready game asset?

This thing is perfect for a showcase game or can be used in hyper detailed open worlds. The apartment can also be used as a social hangout game. As it is non scripted, the consumer has the full right to customize it as he/she wants it to be and use it in his experience.

What do we offer as features? For optimization and utilization, we have divided the files into two parts, interior and exterior, the two can be linked through game place teleportation (which has to be done by the consumers).

Interior File Features

·      Fully modelled Interior

·      All Assets are imported from Blender, and contains High Poly count (in its precise render form) to display best quality

·      The Lighting is based on Roblox’s Future Technology and a complete custom tuning by the developer

·      The whole interior is professionally designed, as if it is an actual one and different real-world considerations are also taken

·      The interior contains 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 Living and Dining Room.

·      All the Bedroom has its unique touch in interior design and lighting

·      The whole model is merged and arranged for user preferences

·      The whole scene is illuminated by 500 light sources, and properly optimized.

·      The whole scene contains 140 PBR Textures in different materials (2K resolution)

·      It is not scripted but the file is explorable in test mode in studio

·      The asset is sold under CC BY-NC-ND License.

Exterior File Features

·      The whole campus is modelled in a single baseplate, but extremely detailed

·      The Campus contains two gates (same model) modelled precisely and with enough detailed

·      The Campus has an entertainment Complex, which has a swimming pool and a Gym, which is again fully modelled with imported assets from Blender

·      The whole campus contains a good amount of vegetation, and that also is imported from Blender and placed as it need to be

·      The Light Bulbs of the apartment Complex follows the pattern of CRI Warm LED bulbs and is illuminated with smoke and the special technique followed by the Developer

·      The Garage and Reception counter is properly modelled with tiny bit of details

·      The exterior mimics the interior through light sources and curtains to resonate the realism.

·      The Writings are in 3D and illuminated (they have their separate light source)

·      There are a Basketball Court, Playground, barbeque place and Car Parking in the campus.

·      There is a highway included to make it semi open world where 4 custom car models are included.

·      Powered by Roblox’s Future lighting technology and special tuning technique which the developer calls Photon (Latest Version 1.0)
