Explore over 150 handpicked cherry blossom (sakura) spots in and around Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Himeji, Okayama, Kanagawa, Shizuoka and more with this carefully curated digital map. Based on my personal research and field visits, many of the locations include first-hand bloom dates (at least one date) to help guide your trip.
🌸 Please note: Cherry blossoms are a natural event and highly dependent on weather. Full bloom cannot be guaranteed on specific dates.
This map includes:
- Spot name & location
- Dates I personally visited (where available) in the last years for full bloom - format DD.MM.YYYY
It is not intended as a comprehensive tour guide. Please do your own research about current weather and blooming situation, the place itself, transportation and what else you can do in the area.
