Mountains to Sound pays homage to the beauty of the area in which I am lucky enough to live. The Mountains to Sound Greenway winds its way through Snoqualmie Pass, down through the national forest, and then out to Puget Sound. From snowy mountains, to beautiful deep blue bodies of water, this shawl represents everything I love about living in the Pacific Northwest.

Big Sky Yarn Squish DK (100% Superwash Merino, 237 yards/100 grams), in the colorways Slate, GI Joe,
and Old South; or any similar DK weight yarn with which you can achieve gauge.

18 stitches by 24 rows is equal to 4” (10cm) in stockinette stitch after blocking. While gauge is not critical
to this project, it will affect your finished size and yarn used.
Final measurements after blocking: 66” (167cm) wide by 28” (71cm) deep at the center.
