This triangle shawl is worked on the bias beginning with a few cast on stitches and increasing on each wrong side row. This pattern incorporates a garter section, eyelets, and a flower lace pattern. If you can yarn over, k2tog, kfb, you can make this shawl! The title comes from one of my favorite songs, by one of my most favorite bands. If I had known how to knit, I would have knit this shawl and worn it on my wedding day. It’s delicate and light, and just enough for those cool summer evenings.

Sample is knit in Fishbelly Fiber Works Tributary base, (100% Superwash Merino, 400y/100g); in
the colorway “Don’t you know how popular I am?” While this was a limited edition color, any
fingering weight yarn will work. The sample used 345y/86g.
Please note these are estimates only, and adjustments to the pattern and gauge may alter
these numbers.

Gauge is 21 sts and 48 rows per 4” (10cm) in garter stitch after blocking. While gauge is not crucial,
adjustments will alter yarn usage and finished measurements.
The shawl measures 76 ½” (194cm) from tip to tip and 11” (28cm) deep after blocking.

This pattern has been tech edited and test knit, and should be error free. However, if you have questions, or need some help, please email me at knitsbylindalou@gmail.com.
