Tradie Licence, Ticket & Insurance Expiry Tracker (AU) | Excel & Google Sheets

Keep every white card, licence, first aid/CPR certificate, insurance policy and rego for you, your crew and your business in one place. You can see what has expired, what to renew now and what's coming up, all sorted by date.

What it does

• Register: one row per ticket, licence or policy. Type the expiry date from the card or policy. For first aid, CPR and high risk work licences you can enter just the issue date and the expiry is calculated from the default validity (which you can edit).
• Renewals: add a new row when you renew. The old one is marked "Replaced by newer" and drops off the alerts.
• Statuses: EXPIRED, RENEW NOW (14 days), Due soon (60 days), OK, or CHECK if a date is missing. You can change the warning days.
• Site Check: pick a site or client to see whether each active person holds every ticket that site requires, with a YES/NO "Cleared for site?" column.
• Dashboard: status counts, a renewal to-do list sorted by date, and how many renewals fall due each month for the next 12 months.
• People: includes a "Business" row for policies and rego in the business name. People marked "Left" drop out of the alerts.

Pre-filled ticket types include white card, high risk work licence, first aid, CPR, driver licence, trade/contractor licence, electrical/plumbing/gas licence, public liability, workers comp, income protection, vehicle rego, site induction, EWP, Working with Children Check, and Other. All of them can be edited.

Default validity comes from Safe Work Australia's model Code of Practice (First aid in the workplace: first aid every 3 years, CPR annually) and SafeWork NSW (high risk work licence: 5 years). Rules differ by state, so check yours.

Works with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. No macros, and it works offline. Yellow cells are for typing; formula cells are locked (no password).

• It doesn't verify licences. Use your state regulator's public register for that.
• It isn't legal or insurance advice.
