Crochet Creme Egg Covers

Do you need to hide that last crème egg? How about making one of these cute egg covers. Worked from the top down in the round in just a single stitch with added embellishments you have your perfect hiding place.

Difficulty

You will be working in US single in the round for the body and half double and single for the ears/wings

Measurements

The cover without ears/wings is 5cm / 2 inches tall and 3.5 cm / 1.4 inches wide

Yarn and Notions

Double knitting yarn (light worsted / 8 ply),

·        Bunny – grey (10g / 30m), small amounts of pink and white

·        Chick – yellow (10g / 30m), small amount of orange

3mm crochet hook

Stitch marker

Needle for sewing up and black embroidery thread
