If you ever wanted to get into the excitement of horse racing, but are intimidated by the large amounts of information in the past performances, let me help break it down to you. This short but sweet document was written by me (a handicapper of 7 years) to help get people to understand the in and outs of handicapping a race based on past performances.

I break each individual piece of the past performances (images included) and give you the black and white of the data along with how that data is typically used by horseplayers. I promise this will get you to understand the horse racing program with ease!
