Second in a series of holiday stockings, Making Merry.
The stocking is knit top-down with a turned hem above a stranded-colorwork border. A forethought wedge heel and star toe complete the piece. Knit in DK weight hand-dyed yarn, it makes a perfect heirloom for passing down to future decorating generations.
You will want to make several, both for your own merry-making and for gifting to others who will treasure your handcrafted stockings for years to come.
