Balkan Floral Motif No.3
This is a beginner-friendly cross-stitch pattern based on the folk art of the Samokov region in Bulgaria. The pattern size is 44 × 32 stitches.
This style of folk art has its own distinct visual logic. Its geometric forms, symbolism, flatness, and ornamental rhythm are very close to early modernism and cubism — except that they emerged not from artistic manifestos, but from craftsmanship and collective memory.
