How to Apply for Irish Citizenship if your Grandparent was born in Ireland

If one of your parents was born abroad to an Irish born parent, then as the grandchild of an Irish born grandparent you are entitled to apply for Irish Citizenship. To obtain your citizenship, you apply to have your birth entered in Ireland's Foreign Birth Register.
