An innovative, pictorial based instrument to aid clinicians in assessing for trauma history and related symptoms in children. The use of the puppy character, Cameron, helps to engage vulnerable children in a developmentally appropriate way.
The CCTI is a comprehensive two-part semi-structured interview tool intended for use with children ages 5-11 with known history of exposure to traumatic events.
Part One:
Trauma History = 10 questions
Part Two:
Symptoms = 21 questions
The CCTI Manual contains scoring information and includes the recommended assessment-treatment flowchart.
