Time to Make A Difference
This isn’t just about a career. It’s about purpose. It’s about stepping into a role where your life experience and strength truly matter. You’re not starting over. You’re stepping into something meaningful. And the difference you’re meant to make starts with one decision: choosing yourself.
Time to Make it Happen
You’re tired of wondering “what if.” You know you’re meant for more, and deep down, you’re ready to stop holding yourself back. Fear has had its time and now it’s yours. Your age does not define your future. This is your moment to decide, to move, and to finally make it happen.
About Me
I became a registered nurse at 50. I cannot say it was an easy journey! I encountered every roadblock you can imagine. Four kids. Twenty years in Human Resources. A military husband and the moves that came with him. Financial strain. Self-doubt that almost won. And one more obstacle that almost ended it all - I failed nursing school before I finally finished it.
Failed. Cried. Pulled myself out this quagmire. Reapplied. Kept going. Graduated at 50. Against all odds, I managed to become a nurse and I want to share my journey with you. Since becoming a nurse 9 years ago, I graduated with my Master's Degree in Nursing. My goal is to help women realize their dream and become a nurses later in life even if they feel like they've waited too long.

Will this work if I'm in my late 30s?
Yes. The Companion is built for women in their late 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s. If you’re 36 reading this — you’re not too early. You’re right on time. Some of the most successful career changers in nursing start before 40, and the mindset work in this Companion meets you wherever you are.

Will this work if I'm in my 50s or 60s?
Yes, and honestly, this is where the Companion shines hardest. I became a nurse at 50, and I now have my MSN at 58. If you’re picking this up at 55 or 62, you’re not late. You’re exactly the woman this was written for.

I haven't taken a science class in 25 years. Is this for me?
It is. The Companion isn’t about whether you can pass anatomy. Tt’s about whether you can give yourself permission to start. The mindset work, the financial chapter, the 30-day plan, and the HR strategy are all designed for women who have been away from school for a long time. If your brain feels rusty, you’re not broken. You’re out of practice. Practice is something you can fix.

What if I'm not ready to apply to nursing school yet?
That’s exactly who this is for. The 30-Day Action Plan starts with research, reflection, and mindset work not with applications. By day 30, you’ll have clarity, a plan, and the option to apply when you’re ready. You don’t have to be ready to start.

I'm a military spouse. Is there anything for me?
Yes. There’s an entire section dedicated to military spouses including MyCAA funding information, Nurse Licensure Compact considerations across moves, and the realities of pursuing nursing school across duty stations. I was a military wife through most of my own journey, and I wrote this section because I wish someone had handed it to me when I was packing my second PCS.

Can I get a refund?
Because this is a digital product, all sales are final.
