The CLOVER Reading Screening is a specialized one-on-one literacy assessment designed to identify exactly where your child's reading skills are strong and where the gaps are. Conducted personally by Ms. Joy, a certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist (IDA/CERI), this screening gives you a clear, evidence-based starting point for targeted instruction.

What does CLOVER stand for:

CLOVER stands for the six key syllable types in English:

c+Le (Consonant + LE)
Open
Vowel Pair (or Team)
Silent E
R-Controlled

By assessing your child across all six syllable types, the CLOVER screening pinpoints the specific decoding patterns your child has mastered and those that still need explicit, systematic instruction.

What to Expect

What is included in your $30.00 package:

A 30-minute one-on-one Zoom screening session conducted personally by Ms. Joy
. A CLOVER scorecard with percentiles.
A summary report of your child's results.

What happens after purchase:

You will receive a welcome message with a calendar link to book your session based on available time slots.

Testing schedule:

Sessions are available from September to November, January to March, and April to June. Testing is closed in December.

Additional services available:

An extra 20-minute screening time can be added for $10.00 if needed.
A CLOVER Coaching Call for a detailed review of your child's report is available for a coaching fee of 30 minutes. Contact Ms. Joy directly to arrange a coaching call.

Cancellations within 48 hours may be rescheduled.
Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
